You pick an amount of SOL. Your wallet signs a buy through Jupiter, at the best price it finds.
Every burn removes coins for good, so every holder owns a bigger share. Your receipt proves you did it.

Burned so far—
Every pump.fun coin starts with exactly 1,000,000,000. Burns are the only way supply goes down, so what's missing was burned. Scorch receipts are listed one by one; burns made some other way (by the dev, by holders, or pump.fun's own buy-and-burn after a coin graduates) are counted, not itemised.
Two signatures in your own wallet: first a buy through Jupiter, then a burn of exactly what that buy brought in. Scorch never holds your SOL or your coins.
How a Scorch burn works

You pick an amount of SOL. Your wallet signs a buy through Jupiter, at the best price it finds.

The page reads what the buy really brought in, from the chain, and burns every one of those coins. Not one more or less.

Both transactions are on Solscan, linked to each other, and the burn lands in the public furnace log.
The furnace log · live
Each burn pays its fee to the Scorch furnace wallet, so that wallet's history is the log. Anyone can check it on Solscan.
The rules it runs on
Before your wallet sees anything, this page checks every byte: one signer (you), nothing pre-signed, nothing extra.
The burn is built from what the buy actually brought in, read from the chain, not from the quote.
1% of the SOL you spend (at least 0.001 SOL) goes to the Scorch furnace wallet, inside the burn step. See the wallet.
